When school breaks up I will be sailiing for about 8 days from
Sydney to
Brisbane which should be absolutely exceptional. Then about 4 days 4WDing in the
Snowy mountains with New Years on top of Australia. Then there is the
Tamworth country music festival. R&R until school returns though.
Regards
Slunnie

Nowhere :-(
I have two weeks off but the missus can't get time off work. I think it will just be with the kids at the local beach a few times.
Though we are planning a weekend away without the kids in February.

Truckster, we're going to stop
home, as we do the back to boarding school trip late Jan. Spend most of the time running from airconditioned house to aircon Tojo,
check a few waters, do some maintenance and hope that nothing major breaks, when days are in mid 40's. Eat too much at Xmas, and spend half the day sleeping off what we've consumed during the previous half. Have a good one....

Hmmmm I travel Oz for work.... so I reckon I'll read a book or three on the hammock, if the pesky wrens, honeyeaters and rosellas will let me. A bit of
farm work..... a paddle down the
Thomson River.... maybe the
Mitchell..... Perhaps a few days 4WD into Wonnangatta..... Hmmm maybe back to the hammock with a stubbie and a book or zzzzzzzzzzz. Royce

The Victorian 4WD club. The Collins hut. Yes it is always busy up there at this time of year but the club have been going up that way for a number of years and usually don't come across too many others. It will be my first time as I am usually working, but my partner always goes and has a great time. No funny comments with this last remark. He always has a better time when I am with him. The club is in the process of trying to get some funding but I believe to no avail at this stage. We also need a coperative sawmill to get the first cut of timber. It will be hard work but also an enjoyable time with a great reward at the completion.
