Mate, half of
Cobar will be there and it is a great day/night. I've been before so have decided to go to the
Nyngan Ag Expo which is on the same day unfortunately.
If the weather stays as it has been for the past week it will be a sensational weekend. The nights have been very mild, days warm and with all the rain it is very green. There is even a fair bit of water still flowing in the river.
To go
home a different way, cross the river at
Louth and follow the western side road down to
Tilpa. Stay the night there - good pub. Then either keep going down along the river to Wilcania or head back east towards the highway. That road was cut up bad last week but it may be graded by now. Still average 60km/h anyway.
Have a good one. Also make sure you stop in at the Occidental Pub here in
Cobar and say G'day to Payne.
Cheers,
Hughesy

Thanks bundyman. Had a blast!
And plenty of your bundy too.
Everyone raves about "Paynsie" up at
Louth. He sounds like one of those old fashioned publicans.
We came back through Nymagee and Condo.
