I just found this ad on the Bemer side:

G'day All

I have GME TX6200 5 watt UHF radio with Cigarette lighter charger and
Helmet headset with Push to Talk button (unused) for sale.

I paid $550.00 for it to take to Innamincka.
The headset failed on the second day so it was replaced when I got
back and is new in the box.

I want $300 for it. its in Sydney.

If you know anyone who might be after a UHF radio pass this on

Pezz :)

Too high for a second hand unit, regardless of how little it's been used.

A brand spanking new one can be purchased from Prestige Communications for $395 and would include a full manufacturer's warranty.

The headset adds no value at all for most people.

Why didn't you hire the UHF ? Might have cost you about $45 for 2 weeks. You'd be hundreds in front.
