Hi All, we have decided that we will return to the Northern Territory for holiday next year after a 8 year hiatus. When we were there last time we staid east of the and did the Finke, Dalhousie, Chambers pillars etc.. and didn't do
the Rock, Kings Canyon etc. I would appreciate any suggested Itineraries as we will probably spend 3-4 weeks in the area with our 80 series Landcruiser and Goldstream Wing III so l am ok for light/moderate off road with trailer but its easy enough to unhitch and do a day trip etc on more challenging tracks. I would appreciate any comments on where to go, what's a must see and where's good to stay. Much appreciated.

Hi Steven
There is a lot to see in the Red Centre. Check out some of the Trek Notes here on OE. If you have not travelled the Old
Andado Track, I can recommend this back way into the Alice. There is some unreal scenery along the way, and is a far more interesting trip than the Black Top. Also if you have not seen
the Rock, it is one place that you must see. The
rim walk at Kings Canyon is also a must and a great place to stay while in the area is
Kings Creek Station. There are many other interesting
places like
Palm Valley and some of the Explorer
Routes in the area. It is good to see you start planning, as there is a lot to see.
Enjoy your Red Centre Trip.
Cheers
Stephen

Hi steven,
Last summer we stay 5 weeks in NT and WA. We do a very classic trip in the Red Center : Alice, Uluru, KataTjuta, Kings Canyon, Meerenie Loop, McDonnell Ranges. For us this loop was wonderfull but we travel from France and here wild life is nonexistent.
I have published some pictures in my website. I hope this could help.
Regards,
Juan
