Where is my bloody whine?

It's getting close to Christmas and I'm getting thirsty!

You promised a whine (as distinct from wine).

Do I conclude from this, that you lack substance?

Regards

Hey Kim

Copious amounts of wine, food. prickly pear juice, stewed fruit, bundy, scotch, almonds, ice cream, cakes, biscuits and maybe some rocket fuel, is to be lavished on friends who visit this mecca, on the edge of the outback.

You may even leave here with a few spare tyres....lol

Nothing is posted.

Thats my whine for the day.......

Cheers

Now I was wondering how you knew that I have been partaking in a few Bundy's....lol

I figure you mean the house. :-D Thanks anyway, though our effort pales into insignificance to what some others have done. Take a drive down Watkins Road tonite. It is stunning to say the least.

Cheers

Always the same,

You left out poison weed!

On that subject, do you have any photographs of Camel weed along the Canning?

Dunno mate. I have looked through my photos and have one pic unnamed flower. Serrated type leaves and yellow flower. Trying to match that up with discription in Field Guide to Outback plants SA. Also have book on Cent Aust plants but can't find it right now. Thems the breaks.

We had the same problem. The Abo's could identify a few but not all.

By the way. Spent a lot of time looking into the Dog Fence trip. In a word too hard.

Given the amount of time we put into the CSRR, I'm not prepared to go though it all again.

Have a good Xmas

Yep, I wondered how you would go.

There are too many jurisdictions to contend with and above all, driving the Dog Fence is not promoted, due to a number of near misses in the past with workers along the fence.

Better you come with me into the Never Never country in 2008 for one last fling into the Western Deserts. Better make sure you have a NISSAN by then as nothing else lasts out there....LOL

You have a good one as well.

Thanks Mate,

Let me know your plans (I think you have my e-mail address).

I'm totally cash strapped this year, what with the repairs and purchase of a new vehicle.

Looking forward to another Desert trip. It's the only way I can get some quiet time.

PS Have no fears, I drive a Toyota.

Why don't you come along to the National EO Gathering at Warrweena in July 07?

After that I have a little Hellfire Excursion into the Simpson. You shouldn't scratch the Prado if you follow in my tracks...:-D

If I haven't said it before...Have a good Xmas and New Year

Willem,

Your testiing my memory a bit mate. Is Warraweena just South of Leigh Creek?

As far as the Simpson is concerned. I'm assume your talking about "off track" (I'm not interested in the tourist route).

My ST's are in a a sorry state at the moment. Therefore, I'll have to save up for a new set prior to 2007.

Yes, your dead right. My new Prado is a joy to behold. I take her to bed with me every night (she does'nt like scatching).

Send me some details.

Regards

Kim
