I am trying to sure up numbers for the GATHERING as we are planning on providing more events for that week-end.
I sent out Members Messages to all that listed that they were keen to come. I also sent out emails to non-members who were keen to come.
Out of 57 listed names I have received 18 vehicles COMING and 6 vehicles NOT COMING. Thank you to those who have replied so far.
To those who have not replied as yet......PLEASE confirm if you are ATTENDING via email to willem@kempen.id.au , OR Members Message as soon as possible, so that I can formulate the plans I have, with ease....:-)
Cheers

I was reading the details of what you have arranged for the gathering, very impressive, bit more flash than when i arranged the first one mate, i wish i could go but unfortunately we can't, we were going to the Flinders this year and were hoping to drop in on the gathering, but i don't know if we can now.
Have a great time Willem and hope nothing spoils it, like rain, lol.

Thanks Baz
Yeah what a muddy mess that was. LOL......tho we got to know each other sitting out of the wind and the wet, sipping firewater.
Remeber the grumpy Caravan Park Manager?...LOL
All trips take a lot of planning especially if you are working class. Me? I can top up with fuel and tucker and be away within a few hours...lol Money is the only problem....hahahaha

Still trying to organise around time off work, school holidays, house building, upcoming appointments/commitments and planning the trip to give a definate answer yet. Will talk it over with the other half over the weekend for more definate yes or no. Will email you when we have it all sorted out by the end of this weekend.
My only other concern is availability of fuel. As we are driving a ULP 3.2L V6 with a fuel range of around 450-500km of normal highway driving, we may need to top up or refuel to be able to go on the drives while we are there. How far would it be to go somewhere to refuel once we are at the
camp site? We will be carrying jerry cans with us but not sure how much we will need to take.
Cheers
Darren.
