I'm hoping someone may be able to give me the GPS co ordinates for the turn of from the Development Road (Tambo-Springsure Rd) to Salvador Rosa campsite.
I know this point is 102km from Tambo but the co ordinates would enable me to plan the route on the GPS before we head off.

Sorry I can't help with GPS co ordinates but have a think about travelling the old bullocky road used for carting wool to the coast.
It turns off the highway about 10K south of Tambo and cuts across the tip of Carnarvon Nat Park.
It would be ok for a camper trailer or off road van
Remember to buy a Tambo Teddy for the Missus and you will be in the good books for a month or until you stuff up, which ever comes first.
Have a good trip

Thanks, well go this way. I'd seen this track on the mapping software and thought it would be a good short cut but could not find out if there were any locked gate.
We have an Aussie Traveller roof top tent so we dont have the trailer to consider.
The Tambo Teddy is a must. Up the Tambo then back to the Bullocky Rd.

Aussie Traveller

When I went that way GPS's weren't on the market yet and I followed the roadsigns to Salvator Rosa(had to check the spelling thereof too and see it is Salvator Rosa after Mt Salvator as my Natmaps couldn't find the area. Hema howver has itmarked in their Road Atlas)

I have taken manual co-ordinates from Oziexplorer.

24 degrees 27.588 South 147 degrees 09.896 East

They may be a few metres out but should be close enough.

Hope this helps

Cheers
