Gday
Well I arrived home at 2 am this morning after a 16 hr trek home to Melbourne .

The weekend away was just great, everything that a traveller and enthusiast would want. Nice people and some good 4wd tracks.
Dinner dance on Saturday night and a band, Sunday was just as good, with a drive up into the hills behind the camp . Saturdays drive was better and more steep and more exciting and all those things that you drive 1300ks for.
Will write more later as I am off to work for a while.
Have a good holiday and drive carefullly.

Which drive did you do on saturday? We did Dunbar on sat and Mt Gill on sun. Both were great fun but the wife didn't enjoy the heights of Mt Gill lol. This is certainly a must return destination for us.

Hi Brew
We did Mt Gill on Saturday. Loved the heights, actually sat with legs dangling over the edge and would love to do it again sometime. Sunday was the homestead run. Not as exciting as Mt Gill but still had great fun doing it.

My little Wes has turned north from Beltana and headed for Innamicka and Camerons Corner. He also enjoyed the national gathering and will certainly come again.

Muzbry, was great to be able to talk some more than last time we met and meet with your (notso) little Wes too.

Aas brew observed below a good second trip is desired, but we have just had that and the damage, but that was nothing to do with a trip.

As you say, nice people and good tracks, great entertainment too. The others who didn't get there will just have to realise that they missed out. :-))))
