click on Home above. Then look down the page a bit and you'll find "driving directions". Enter the start and end locations and hey presto you'll have the answer.
BUT in my opinion Highway one via Adelaide, Perth, Darwin etc will be a much better drive:-)

Head north to the Newell hwy then up to Toowoomba then just before Crowsnest (Hampton) turn right for ESK then Toogoolawah Kilcoy Woodford Beerwah and then on the Bruce Highway up to Eumundi or Cooroy and then head out to Noosa.

Pretty direct and the main ranges are downhill (Hampton to Esk)

When I am faced with this kind of navigation problem I always start the same way.

I get a map that has start and end points on the same page, I then get a ruler or the like and place it on the map to draw a line from one to the other. I then chose a route that stays as close as possible to that line.

If I want a quick run I chose main roads, if I want a bit of adventure I take the smallest roads I can find. Sometime I mix it up a bit.

I have found some great places like this. I have also had some experiences which my family will never let me forget. But it is never boring.

Bill

I came down to Melbourne from Coffs Harbour n Tuesday and in reverse from Albury went this way.
Albury, Wagga, Junee, Cootamundra, Young, Cowra, Canowindra, Molong, Wellington, Gulgong, Coolah, Premer, Werris Creek, Tamworth, Armidale, Ebor, Dorrigo, Coffs Harbour.

Instead of turning at Armidale for Ebor just continue up the New England Highway as the Pacific has some road work sections south of Coffs Harbour at the moment. Traffic that way was quite light and I will be travelling that way again tomorrow to take Darkie home.

Cheers Kev
