Batemans Bay and
Mallacoota.I am travelling through this area soon and are looking for
places of interest and if any
free camping areas

make sure you have a look at the whaling museum in Eden then go around the other side of the bay to Boydtown

Mystery Bay provides a nice
camp spot.
Then take the old coast road down through Bermaguie,
Tathra then turn off the
Bega road direct to
Merimbula.

depends how long you have its only a days drive if you dont want to stop or there are plenty of
places on or off the highway
bodalla forest roadside stop is nice
get a copy of camps 4 its graet

I got a copy of the Boiling Billy publication about the SE forests and Gippsland yesterday.
It has heaps of trips in that area, most pretty easy.
