Hi guys,

Wife and I are discussing where we should go for the NSW school holidays.

I was pushing for a trip to Camerons Corner, my wife a trip up to Yuraygir NP. If anyone has any other ideas we would welcome the hope of someone breaking the deadlock.

She who must be obeyed does not want to drive heaps and likes the idea of sun and beach. Actually I think I am convincing myself Yuraygir is the go!

PS - We have three kids with us - 2, 4 and 7.

Hi Greg o

Throw a Spanner in the Works and go to Perisher, the Snow will be
great by then, the kids will love it.

Cheers

We are heading off two weeks prior to the start of NSW holidays.

Travelling with another family we are doing the darling river run, then heading to Euchaca then down to Ballarat before heading home.

Starting off from Newcastle.

Your wanting remote stuff right and she's wanting beachy stuff???

Well....spend 4 days or so out at Wee Jasper - 70km west of Yass, its on a sheep station and there is a general store / pub, camping fees are pretty resonable ( Billy Grace camp ground has showers and is usually packed and does have powered sites; swinging bridge has a drop toilet and no shower but is much more quieter for camping - our fave spot; and micalong creek which is another 5 km down the road has toilets and I think the odd shower but ould be wrong, has black berry bushes galore with heaps and make a yummy feast!)
...... and there is lots of fishing, caves to go visit - put all the big names to shame.....and Geoff who does the tours is a real treat.... and micalong creek to go for a dip in with the water fall (our arvo treat!).....
then head east to the beach for another 5 days......

If you had been there this last weekend, your arvo treat waterfall may have been solid. You people from the south coast must be tough.

She isn't that tough Vince she refused to go for a dip in the Cooper at Innamincka after making a bold declaration that she would LOL

Cheers Kev

I almost forgot about that. She had a BAD cold, or somthing like that. Mind you I got my feet wet when I was pulling the boat out and that Cooper was cold.

Thanks Laura. Compromise is the way to go - I have no chance.
