Hi Gwen,

here area two more that make an excellent product.

Brown Davis and

Long Range Automotive

Over the years I've had all three. Had problems here and there and was very disappointed with the Longranger, in particular the way ARB will drop you once there's an issue with the tanks. "Oh it's not ours, we just stock them and sell them"!

Cheers

Mick.

PS a search of the forum will be very enlightening on this topic.

ARB are in breach of fair trading rules if they said that to you .They sold it, it is their responsibility to honour the warranty , not to fob you off to the manufacturer. Regards G.T.

GT,

should have mentioned that the tank was 4 months out of warranty. Mind you you'd think that a company that prides itself on the alleged quality of it's gear would come to the party. The other interesting factor was that my vehicle is actually an ex-ARB show car out of Sydney so you'd reckon they would want to do something posotive about it. After all a fuel tank is not a throw away item you expect to replace after 3 years. They carried on like old maids. I ended up taking it to Brown davis who repaired it for $150. Problem solvered. Lone Ranger don't reinforce their tanks in areas of obvious stress. Be warned.

Cheers Mick
