I saw this lot on the side of the road about 100km southeast of
Broken Hill
Not sure of the origin of the Teddies but I believe there have been some additions to the furniture of late

There is a decorated Christmas tree there now, and we even have TV out in the bush too.

A few mates and I were out that way late October, travelling from
Sydney to
Birdsville. We all had a smile on our faces as we wondered who would have set this scene, it stayed in our memory for days and was often the subject of "Billy Talk" as we rested our tired limbs.

I wonder if he is any relation to the Lone Gum Koala we saw out in the Simpson last year?

Hi Willem and Other Posters
It's so nice to see someclever people have gone to the trouble to create these screens. It's very imaginative and a great light entertainment from the usual flash of trees as we drive along.
As one other poster on here said "put the smile on our faces for days", possibly what the person/s intended.
Let's hope it is not spoilt by mindless idiots who have nothing better to do with their otherwise useless time.
As for the Koala in the tree, let's hope that is not a real look into the future? We all hope future children do get to see the "real" animals while they are traveling and learning.

Indeed Willem, strange goings on in the outback. Two of my finds this year that left me scratching my head.
The Hat tree on the Old
Renmark Road at Chowilla

And the start of the underwear collection on the
dog fence at the
Warri gate. What's the go there?

Sort of like the "Thong Trees" one sees at caravan parks or the "Flathead Head" tree at Lake Conjola on the NSW south coast.
I do however, feel that the "Teddies" manages to trump anything I've seen to date.

Don't really want to see what filled those "panties" previously either.
ps "Rudd the Dud" on the
gate is a nice touch as
well LOL
