Hi all, just wanting to know anyone who goes camping at Booti Booti National Park over the Easter long weekend, whether it is easy to get a camp spot on the Good Friday? or is it busy? Also are the beaches right there? Any good surf spots?

over easter it is very very busy.
and probably one of the most expensive national parks in Australia.
apart from the snowy's.
even though it's one of the smallest.
It is right on the beach though, which, is why it's busy.

Thanks so much for the reply. We didn't want to travel all that way to find out we couldn't get a camp spot, will have to go there another time when it is not so busy. Any other suggestions where is good to go for Easter which has beach nearby.

Easter is allways busy and so close to Sydney a very popular spot.
Booti booti has a very large flat grassed camping area with no shade except for around the edge so get in early for the good spots. only a short walk to the beach. There is a surf spot at the point and only a short drive back to seal rocks if you are looking for better surf.

All holiday periods in the Pacific palms area are very busy but Easter Weekend and October Long Weekend are chaotic.

Everything is full and normally booked well in advance and it appears to be a rush to do everything you can in so few days.
