Oooohhh Axle....You are digging deep into our culture now....hahaha

What a wonderfulful site to keep some of us entertained. Where would we be without ExplorOz? Probably doing some work in the garden. Watch tennis? I would rather watch paint dry...lol. And so you and I seem to be in the same boat. I only watch selected programs on TV(Like Dr Who last night) and then disappear into my den.

All that aside what we do here is informative, keeps the brain working and I have learned to type with two fingers at quite a rate(trouble is it takes 5 minutes to fix all the typos...lol)

I have met some extraordinary people through this site and have a database of new friends. My wife yells people that I have heaps of friends who live in a box. And sometimes I talk to the box!!!...on Skype........

Have a nice Australia Day

Cheers

Sad isnt it that all the regulars [u+I included] lead lives that require electronic intervention instead of doing real activities. LOL

Willem ,tis true , and now that we have moved from the big smoke of Brisvegas to the geographical centre of Qld electronic communication has become a requirement not just a pastime.

My Membership Renewal is next month, better send the Cheque
away, couldn't stand all of you having fun with out me, I wouldn't say it's better than sex, but it's a hell of a lot better than tennis,
and I can sit in the office and make out I'm working, but the Cook
knows better, and alass I still type with one finger.

Cheers

In my state of health and advancing decrepitude, a life membership would probably be a poor investment. ;)

Yep, I get on here when the cricket is on Axle . Happy to watch bits of the tennis though, depending on how interesting the forum is!

My kids tease me about the time I spend on here here but I like to visit facebook frequently as well which really worries them! Apparently 'old people' arent supposed to use it (facebook) to communicate and I have been given advice about just what I can and cant write on 'the wall' !!!
I think they are just kidding!
Anyway I love this site, have learned so much and look forward to meeting up with other members when we get on the road to SA and WA later in March.
Regards Heather G

This site is not adictive at all, it has become a way of life.
As it is one of the best ones going for all the info available.

Cheers Kev

Like an addiction, this site has (indirectly) cost me a friggin fortune!!!.
I just got home from a gathering in the northen rivers area (NSW).
This is where I found out about the pub re-opening at Mt dare around 18 months ago, so, I had to find it on a map first, Always wanted to do the Simpson Desert crossing, now I had a good reason to.

This site not only is addictive but makes it real hard to get into work mode when you seeing where people are and what they are doing (bars**ds, why do they have brag ,LOL)), so now I have so many places I want to go to, that I don't know where to begin.
