Hello,
I would like info on the condition of the roads for the following route:
Cunnamulla –
Innamincka Innamincka –
Birdsville via
Cordillo DownsBirdsville –
Boulia via
BedourieBedourie –
Winton
I will be travelling in a Nissan Patrol 4.2 Turbo Diesel towing an off-road camper trailer. We will be travelling end of May/early June. We are planning to
bush camp most of this route where possible. I imagine there would be plenty of travellers at this time doing these roads?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
Evan

Far to early for a true road report , each and every road you mention can change from being very good to being a nightmare in the space of 24/48 hrs depending on the weather /amount of traffic,

I will look at detailed road reports closer to the time but generally was looking for a basic rundown on the roads I will be travelling on

Should be straight forward for your Nissan.
From
Cunnamulla it is bitumen out to oilfields west of Noccundra then short stretch into
Innamincka. Take care that water has damaged roads out there but easy drive. There are now some passing stretchs of bitumen between Birdville and
Bedourie and it is all Bitumen from
Boulia to
Winton.
Great trip, enjoy.
