Have made a outer ring that clips on, This stops the good old veggies from falling of the Cobb Cooker when you turn the roast. Bit pricey though $19.00. I guess in the end they will pay for them self. I have pasted a link below if you wish to have a look at my first attempt of using the outer ring.

PS: No lost food

Macca, I'm looking at your photos just before dinner. You're killing me !!

Is the ring thing $19 for both bits? Is it your invention and where are they available?

Hi All,

The internal ring I purchased from BCF at Auburn for $23.00. The outer ring I purchased from the Cobb Cooker stand at the caravan & camping show at Rosehill for $19.00 they had a deal on you buy the two for $35.00. I know it is expensive but 7 - 8 heat beads to cook a bake dinner when you are away its all worth it. When you sit down & relax & have a good feed. I also have 2 large hillbilly camp ovens they are also good for a nice feed as well. hope this helps.

Cheers Macca.

Apparently there's a springform pan which nicely fits the trivet.

Hi Macca,

You "made" the outer ring?
You are confusing us with your photos and captions:-)

These accessories are actually the Roasting Rack and the Fiddle, each retailing for $19.90 if you need them.

Cobb Accessories

Personally, I have no problem with them falling off as I place the vegies in the moat surrounding the fire box.

If I'm feeding the clan, I also use the camp oven which has a large vegtable cooking ring as an accessory. (Hillbilly)

Both the Cobb Cooker and the Hillbilly camp oven are integral parts of my camping gear.

Happy Cooking mate.

I'll save my $$ as well, we have always done them in the moat and they always turn out fine.
