12 months won't be long enough lol. Good on ya and have fun. I just posted on our trip, we have just finished 2 1/2 years on the road. Now we are looking for a house but already have itchy feet again. It's a big country out there.

it will be the best time of your life. we sold our home in newcastle in sept 2001 and travelled around australia for 2 years, then we thought we were ready to settle back down again so we bought a house in the central queensland gemfields, we were only in the house for a year and got itchy feet. so we went around australia again for 12 months.came home for 1 year and sold up and have been back on the road now for nearly 3 years.we dont care now if we ever get back into a house.hope you have a great adventure.

How lucky are you to get the opportunity, my family have had several trips from Vic to central Australia, the Kimberley and Darwin, kakadu and outback QLD, NSW and Fraser Island and some other places, but so much more to see. Enjoy your trip!! it's the trip of a lifetime!!
