Seeking fellow travellers who may be travelling the
Anne Beadell Highway westward from
Coober Pedy to Ilkurlka (and then down the Connie Sue) commencing around 21 April 2010. We are as a family of 3 touring Oz as single vehicle with camper trailer and would love to have company for this trip. Drop us a line if interested.

I drove CP to Annes Corner last Sunday/Monday. Some pretty damp spots around
Mabel Creek. Should be a bit drier by 21 April.
Bad corrugations in parts.

A friend has just completed the drive west.
It was a bit "damp" each end and quite corrugated, but all OK.
It is a great drive, enjoy it.
Cheers,
Peter

Have a great time, we are planning a similar trip leaving
Sydney 1st July 2010. We are heading to Camerons Corner, down the Strezelecki track to
Coober Pedy, across the Anne Beadell Hwy to
Laverton then onto
Perth. We would welcome any company on this part of our journey. After a small break visiting family we will be joining some like minded friends at
Wiluna for a nice quiet drive to
Halls Creek via the
Canning Stock Route (We have a bet going as to who has the biggest dummy spit). Interesting times ahead.
