Has anyone any ideas on travelling from
Wentworth to
Pooncarie along the Darling, which would be the better road to take from for camping, the East is bitumen and the West is a gravel road as shown on the map, any good camping spots as there isn't any marked on that stretch in the Camps 5.
Thanks for any advice. Margaret

G'day Margaret.
A great place to spend a couple of bays is
Bindara Station, on the west side.
Great hospitality, historic
homestead on the bank of the river.
Phone Barb & Bob Arnold 08 8091 7412.
You can get details on the web, just Google outbackbeds nsw.
We stayed there last April.

G'day Everyone
Another really
good spot is somewhere close to this spot GPS reference
-32.89295333,142.34629833.
I just checked the reference on Google and the marker was about 300metres to far North as we stayed right on the bend.
Cannot remember exactly how far but is between 15_30kms south of
Bindara Stn, we stopped for a night back in May -plenty of wood for a fire and no one else within cooey!
