Hi folks
Ive finally finished uploading the best pics from our winter trip through the Centre, the
Kimberley and the
Simpson Desert. Unfortunately, no matter how hard I tried I couldn't get them to go in precise chronological order so apologies for that. If anyone wants to have a look they are
here . The pics can be viewed in conjunction with our
blog.

I noticed the picture of Talk Alf. For those that don’t know, wrap your missus in concrete because he’s a horny old buggar! LOL
Seriously though, he has some very good sculptures for sale.
Great pictures.
Cheers

Gooday,
Than you for the wonderful photos. Came down the Tanami in mid September, it was great to re-live so many of the
places you showed, great photos.
Cheers,
Boroma604.

Wow, what great pictures! Brings back a lot of memories of our last 5 month trip! Where did you meet up with the guy with the camels? We bumped into him in the West MacDonnells near
Glen Helen Gorge! Had to look twice when we saw him up ahead! By the way we had the same problem with chronological photos and in case you don't know now, we found out why ours were all over the place. We were deleting photos (double ups, bad shots etc) every now and again when we had a chance to free up some room. What happens then is the next photos you take fill in the spaces you have created. Hence I have the Bungles in the middle of the
Kakadu shots I took and many more!! Bleh ...

Teege,
That camel van gets around. A few years ago I came upon him on the
Great Central Road just outside
Laverton and 2 years ago on the
Gibb River Road just after the
Pentecost River crossing.
Good photos of your trip/s, the
Simpson Desert was very green this year and although I did not get into the Kimberly this year it also looked very green.

1st October we encountered him between
Lyndhurst and Maree, having to unhitch to get the camels around a
grid on the road.

It would be interesting to see where he's been on EO track me 8-)

Is that what it is. We saw the van pulled up on the side of the road opposite the Drovers rest c/p in
Marree on the 28th Sept.
I thought it was some kind of open air 4X4....didn't realise it was spit powered.

We saw him between Maree and
Farina at the start of the month. Does anyone on here know his story?

Absolutely fabulous photos. When we did a similar trip most of the areas were dry. The country looks magnificent. Oh! How I wish I could be out there now!!
Thanks for the great reminiscences. Regards Allen.

Hi Teege, great photos looked like a trip of a lifetime.
WRT the Picasa web album, if you load in reverse order that will put them in the correct viewing order. Any that are still out of whack use the edit album function and then drag the photos into the correct sequence.
I use Picasa alot and I agree it is frustrating when the photos get juggled. Even got one album (not a web album though) that when you open the photo a totally different photo opens up. Go figure.
