North Side Kosi Nat Park.

Long Plain Road I think its called.

Cooleman Homestead, Bluewater holes .

Nothing difficult in the drive. Good trip though.

That's the only thing I had listed to do, & Yarrongabilly caves/springs. Do any of the long plain tracks go through to yass way or canberra.

Yep.

Long Plain Road becomes Broken Cart Trail. That follows up through Dubbo flat (this bit can be difficult) or you can bypass around that area. These then come out onto Brindabella Road (Tumut to Canberra).

I had heard that Broken Cart Trail was actually closed at present and not sure about whether it has reopened or not.

A phone call to Nat Parks or Forestry at Tumut should tell you.

Try
The Ravine/Lobs Hole - NW of Kiandra
Yarrangobilly Caves
Tom Groggin/Davies Plain - south from Thredbo
Pinch River/Snowy River south along Barry Way
McKillops Bridge on the Delagate Rd - may be a bit too far for a day drive ?
Elliot Way from Kiandra/Cabramurra

The book by Boilling Billy "4WD tracks of the High Country" has some good drives in the area.Subaru Forester
