Hi. I am about to put my mums cub camper trailer up for sale but have no idea what it is worth. It is a 1992 model LX Offroad. It says offroad but only has 14inch rims on it.
Any idea on what these are worth roughly. was thinking of putting $5k on it.!!
Cheers.

Guys - it is against
forum rules to buy and sell items via the
forum. PirieDave's initial post is OK as he is just asking for an idea of what price he should ask for it.
Do not see this as an opportunity to start bidding on the item in question. Place a wanted to buy in the
classifieds if you are chasing a cub camper (or anything else for that matter).
@ PirieDave: once you decide on a reasonable price or if you just want expressions of interest it would also be great if you could place an add in the
classifieds.
Cheers

Hi Dave,
Go to Exploroz
Classifieds, then open Campers & Trailers and you can see what others are asking all over Aust for theirs. This may give you some idea.
You could also ask Darren @ Northern Caravan & Outdoor Centre in Pirie for an idea.

Hi Dave, we faced a similar problem a few months back when preparing to put our van on the market.
I did a bit of "research" by visiting a number of used Caravan yards in our area to get an idea on what similar units were selling for. Mind you if selling privatley you may need to consider selling for a little less than the yards are asking. Some of the Sales people were very helpfull in advising it's value, so dont be afraid to ask their opinion.
I gained the most info by googling "used caravans for sale" simply because you can do a search on a particular brand/ price range/condition/ year model etc. and compare what both dealers and private sellers are asking for similar/same units and you will very quickly get a feel for what yours is worth.
We advertised on the site(apparently not allowed to mention the name?) but if you Google "Caravans for sale" the right place will pop up. We had an excellent response from a very inexpensive add on the site and our Van sold within two weeks. Good luck
