Today we had a look at Neil Turner Weir before heading out of Mitchell.

We journeyed along the Matilda Way to Longreach stopping at Augathella to see the silo art. Artwork commenced 8th February 2020. The painting represents the town of Augathella which has a colourful & unique history full of Bullock Teams and notorious bushrangers who camped along the Warrego River.
Augathella on the Matilda Highway and is 85 kilometers north of the town of Charleville.

We were in big sky country today without a cloud to be seen.

Next stop was Tambo with its sculptures in the grass.

Tambo is the oldest town in the central west 163 years old and has beautiful historical buildings.

Blackall was the next town we passed through and the town signage could be seen for miles.

Our home in Longreach for the next three nights.
