Rest area along the highway on the eastern side of the
Augusta Highway servicing southbound travellers. This section of the
rest area is very close to the railway line with continual freight trains passing by and not recommended for overnight stays due to noise. There is a quieter spot for camping across the road that offers more protection with large trees for shelter. This
rest area is serviced by the Zen coffee van and is good for a roadside stop/rest. The historic railway
bridge is also worth a look.
