Macquarie Harbour cruise catamaran Captain may take the ship through the heads and out to sea. Large swells may be encountered and a stern warning from the deckhands to hold on will be given. The ship can turn using side thrusters and can soon be back on the placid waters of the harbour.
On the shore are buildings associated with the lighthouses in the area.
