We are struggling to find somewhere after leaving Broome and getting to Dales at Karinjini.Pardoo Station is a no go for this season. Cape Keraluen or 80 mile beach seemed to be the only options.

We have two nights to fill.
Some of the free camps before Marble didn’t look overly interesting, and prob didn't want to travel as far as Carrawine aGorge as we will not have time.

Any suggestions? We are in a 4wd and tent.

Thanks

Lovely grassy area under the paperbarks, alongside the DeGrey river - free camping courtesy of Mulyie Station. Not too far from Pardoo.

Cheela Plains station stay is a good spot if you going out via Tom Price and Paraburdoo which also has some bush camps away from the homestead.

Closer to Exmouth also stayed at Emu Creek Station.

Cheers

If you would like to travel over halfway on the trip then try House Creek Rest Area - There is a dump point on site. Trip map, it's labelled Nanutarra on that map but it's a bit before the Nanutarra roadhouse.

Thanks- these spots are great folks!

Im finding it hard to get my head around how much there is to do in these in between places or if mining has locked up large swathes of this landscape- like central qld/ moruya etc.
