Jimbo
He may look a little daggy, maybe even ugly, and some have even called him cute.
On the weekend our camper reached his first birthday. We celebrated by taking him away. In the year we've done 16 trips, for a total of 46 nights and 62 days away. And the novelty still hasn't worn off.
I've shed a tear or two. That mongrel of a
water tank leaked and I had it in and out more times than Johnny Holmes. Then I decided to fit a false floor for the bed which was easy in principle, but a bastard in practice. Then I broke a zip which I ended getting fixed at a very fair price.
The beauty of these things is that they are in such great demand, that they hardly depreciate.
But the real beauty is, with the comfort offered, we have been able to rekindle our
camping of times gone by. There's no way I'd get Jenny away in a tent these days.
Sorry to ramble,
Jim.

Pesty,
We had a fine long weekend at Swan Reach, on the
Tambo River, part of the Gippsland Lakes in Eastern Victoria. It is one of my favourite parts of Australia.
Ranks up there with Fraser Island, Merrimbula,
Glenelg,
Port Fairy, Tathtra, The
Daintree-
Bloomfield Track and
Cooktown,
Robe and I could go on. I still haven't seen half of Australia.
States are just maplines in Australia. I love them all.
Cheers,
Jim.

Hey Jimbo,
You must have had a trouble free experience with the Camper, otherwise you would be calling it a "Her"
We too, love ours and the flexibility it gives us when travelling and
camping.
Great news about Jenny too. Look after her mate!
