LPG is available on most Highways in Oz. It is only when you go into the real outback that it becomes scarce

Go to www.unigas.com.au for a map and resellers.

Go to 'On the road button' at the top of this page and then Fuel Prices to find an up to date listing

From there you can work out the distances you intend to travel, where to fuel up with what, and what your budget needs to be.

I did a simalar but shorter trip last september sydney to uluaru mereenie loop, alice, chambers pilar , oodnadatta track ect . ect
in my 80 towing a camper on lpg /petrol did 7500klm cost me $1400 in fuel
90% was on lpg.that averages out at about $20 per 100klm lpg/ulp combined .could get lpg at uluru 60 cents p/l ,kings canyon 80 cent p/l kulgera 80 cents p/l.
I only ever made one mistake
and that's when I thought I was wrong!
