Zeddie,
Three Mile Dam is located not far from
Kiandra. Its a National
Park campground with a drop
toilet. Very scenic. I updated "places" several weeks ago with some photos from the area.

Hi Zeddie,
There is some great
camping in the National
Park we did a three week
camp there 3 years ago I loved
camping at the Worongbilly
homestead next to the river (Not sure of spelling) just make sure you take a fly swat we were there in January and the march flies we shocking also loved
camping at the diggings Thredbo Barb

Thanks Barb, sounds great - we've got some time to check it out. Good tip about the flies -- also reminds me to take the hat net -- otherwise up the nose they go.

Z ,
Yarrangobilly I think . Beaut river there which is good fishing . A bushwalk down river is very pretty . I have canoed from where you will
camp , down to the
Yarrangobilly Caves and at one stage the river goes in one side of a
hill and comes out the other side .
Another great spot beside the Yarangobilly River further down is Ravine ( Lobbs Hole ) . Turn off between
Kiandra and
Cabramurra .
I used to
camp on the top of the Murrumbidgee out on
long Plain . I am not sure if NP's have said you can't leave the tracks , but we used to drive right down to the river behind a
hill and
camp . Fishing was great - lots of small fish with the odd keeper - use grasshoppers .
Willie .

If you are doing the Broken Cart Track through the top of the
park it has now been graded and the 2 foot ruts removed. We did it this weekend.
