Does anybody know if the Gentle Annie track is passable to
McIntyres Hut and onto WeeJasper at the moment?
Appreciate any
feedback
Regards Will

I cannot give you a direct answer but the main tracks in the Brindies hold up pretty
well so Gentle Annie off Brindie Road down to Flea Creek should be OK as should the Webb Trail - the Waterfall track down to MacIntyres Hut will be more problematic but should be OK - I have been down there and back ion a softroader in heavy rain and had no issues.
You appreciate you cannot go direct from the Hut to
Wee Jasper - you will have to head over to somewhere like Doctors Flat road and head over that way.

Yes, went up over the weekend and no problems, in fact Gentle Annie was surprisingly quite dry with minimal damage from the rain. Flea
Creek camp was a probably the most affected and the flood line water mark of the
Goodradigbee river was amazing (alot of water came through).
McIntyres hut is still standing as with the new
toilets. There were no vehicle tracks so I we have been the first thru for a week or so. Be carefull on some of the side trails of the Gentle Annie or Doctor Flats Road as there are still a lot of trees down across the roads/tracks.
Our route:
Canberra-Brindabella Road-Gentle Annie-
Mcintyres hut-across east to two sticks road to
Piccadilly Circus-
Canberra.

Yes, there is a brand new
well made tin/steel outdoor
toilet on a cement slab.

Two of them actually, one about 50 metres from the hut and another about 400 metres up the road. Cheers

I don't know the name of anything there but if you follow the road to the right at the bottom there is the hut, then a new
toilet building on the left, then further along another new
toilet building on the left. Further along you have to just turn around as the track does a little loop. Cheers
