Arve Falls Track - TAS

20 minutes return, 1 km Grade 2: Suitable for most ages. Keep driving past the Waratah Picnic shelter for about 1.5 km until you get to a small car park on the left hand side of the road. The walk starts from here.The track to Arve Falls is easy to follow and provides a wonderful glimpse of sub-alpine vegetation, including a variety of wildflowers, silver banksia and Tasmanian snow gum with their beautiful twisted branches and striking, smooth mottled bark. Following the creek, you will soon reach the waterfall via a staircase and viewing platform. The falls are not tall but have an impressive drop over the edge of the plateau and overlooking the valley beneath.
