Both walks start here along a former road about 100m to the
Whale sculpture. The
Fishers Point Track continues on through a bush trail initially. The trail then follows the beach and you’ll need to navigate around the rocky headlands and is best done at low tide. If you wish to avoid
the rock sections or the tide is high there are rough diversions of bush track in the scrub if you look closely for the markers, and a few
cairns. The distance is 5km return.At
Fishers Point is a ruin of the brick house that was occupied by Captain Fisher and an old light pole. An aging
information signboard has all the details.
The rockholes and kelp here are worth exploring for unique marine life.
