The Katfish Reach Project aims to improve floodplain and wetland health, managing water cycles, increasing native fish numbers, improving native plant health and controlling weeds and pest animals.
Katfish Reach is a floodplain habitat of the River Murray that includes a range of habitats from permanent flowing creeks, freshwater complexes, saline wetlands and floodplains.
