Bagot Point is the eastern-most point of
Nine Mile Beach. Here the area is of conservation significance for shorebirds and small terns. The conservation significance is largely arising from its connection with the adjacent Moulting Lagoon Ramsar site, where resident and migratory shorebirds congregate for feeding and roosting.Limited visitor impact is important so although fishing access is permitted it is restricted as is camping. Please see signage on site and resoect the regulations to minimise your impact.
