camping zones on Gangalidda and Garawa Native Title lands where a permit is required. A permit can be applied for online (immediate application) or in person at the
Burketown Visitor Centre.At the "Meatworks" there are many designated sites spread along the sand banks of the
Arthur River, located just a few kilometres northeast of town. All sites are easily accessible by all vehicles, but still secluded. Shady trees on river bank. Makeshift roof and posts with bench. Old fishies
