Sites are in disrepair. Booking system abandoned and most areas quite overgrown and most seem long unused. Suitable for serious fishermen but not recommended to general travellers. Most unpleasant.***As of 2026 the online permit and booking system is no longer operational due to temporary long-term closure of the
Visitors Centre due to no staff.
Camp at own risk, free***
