You might already be aware that you can “sign in” to ExplorOz using your Facebook account, but do you know what that really means?
Firstly, signing in with Facebook means you don't need to remember your password, or type in your email address. It's just a one-button click. For new users, this will automatically create a registered profile, for existing users, it will automatically log you in at the right profile status - whether you are a Visitor or Member (provided the email account for your Facebook profile is the same).

Your Facebook Page
ExplorOz has been coded with Facebook integration in the
Forum,
Blogs, Events, Reviews & Comments systems so using your Facebook login on ExplorOz allows your ExplorOz activity in these areas, to be posted into your Facebook profile automatically.
Obviously, this really helps when you’re travelling; have something important to share; or need advice from others. Just write a detailed blog or a post in the
Forum on ExplorOz and reach everyone you want across both networks!
But this isn’t just for posts and
blogs that you create online, it also includes
blogs you create by email, and all the replies you make in the
Forum, plus any reviews you make for products in the
shop, comments about Events, or
Places you’ve been. All these actions will appear in your Facebook Activity panel as small statements/links to your post on ExplorOz. But remember, you have to be logged in using your Facebook account for this to work. If you're not sure, log off, then go to the login panel and click the blue Facebook login button if you wish to activate these features.
For those that aren’t aware, Facebook also gives you an Activity Log that only you can see. This is like a timeline of activity with controls alongside each item allowing you to add them to your timeline if you wish and to control who can see them.
The ExplorOz Facebook Page
For your convenience, ExplorOz has also worked with the Facebook developers to offer a seamless integration between the
Forum posts on the website and
our Facebook Page. This means that if you choose to, you can reply to a
Forum post from the Facebook page and your reply will be automatically merged into the live
Forum post too. All
Forum posts from the site are fed live to the Facebook page, and you can see extracts of post activity but to read the whole post you need to click through to the site of course.
